December Favorites

HO HO HO! It’s finally December! With Christmas coming up, I’d start doing this monthly favorites blog tradition and showcase what things I love every month. It should come as no surprise that I’m a super big fan of Christmas decorations and winter fashion. Yup, they’re all Christmas themed because it’s 17 days left for Christmas! Okay, so here’s all the things I adore in December.

  1. If you are not wearing mittens around this time of the month. You need to start thinking about investing for some because nobody wants to walk outdoors with a frostbite and trust me that’s the worst during the cold times.
  2. My all time favorites as a kid was building a gingerbread house with my family on Christmas Eve and I just found out they have Gingerbread House Decorating Kit! Back in my days, we had to build a gingerbread house from scratch without any guidance. After, trying out this kit my whole mindset changed. I wish my parents could have bought that instead!
  3. Oh my goodness! Don’t get me started on the ugly Xmas sweater! In elementary and middle school I was a big nerd when I worn bunch of ugly Xmas sweaters the whole month, I mean THE WHOLE MONTH of December! I don’t know what I was thinking, but I am glad I did so I can tell some memories of it when I have a family of my own.
  4. Everybody knows I am obsessed with fuzzy socks and the only reason I am cause it’s cute and it keeps my feet super warm!
  5. The number one rule in my closet is to only wear infinity scarfs, just because I am too lazy. All you need to do it put the scarf around your neck and it’s all wrapped around your neck for you. Simple! You don’t need to waste 20 seconds or more just find out how you should wear your scarf.
  6. I actually love thigh high boots because we can have an excuse to wear dresses in the winter and makes your outfit stands out even more. Apparently, the fashion rule is short people that under 5’5 can’t wear them just because it will look funny on us. I have to say is who cares if we want to wear it we are going wear no matter what!
  7. What brightens up my spirit is seeing christmas decorations and my neighbors putting up their lights on their roof. I feel like I’m in wonderland just because everybody full of holiday spirits and nobody wants to be the Mister or Miss Grinch.
  8. If you haven’t tried eggnog at least once in your life. You haven’t experienced the full holiday even if you don’t like it a little sip wouldn’t hurt. I love eggnog, but I will definitely not drinking the whole month. Eggnog to me is a one time every year only because a lot of stores only selling during the holidays 😆
  9. candy cane emoji yet. I feel like a candy cane is the third thing that represents the holidays plus candy cane is good and it keeps your breath from not smelling like Patrick on Sunday mornings.
  10. Last but not least the most beautiful thing on Christmas, which is the Xmas tree! “Where Santa puts the gifts under the tree because you were on his good list.” I always loved when I have to get on somebody back just so I can put the star on top of the xmas tree. Oh, the memories I miss when I was a child.
